Authorities have determined what killed wrestling star Benjamin Satterley.
A spokesperson for the Cook County medical examiner’s office told the California Post on Monday that following an investigation into his sudden death, investigators concluded that Satterley – who performed in AEW rings under the name “Pac” – died of bronchial asthma.

The circumstances of his death were officially deemed natural, the spokesperson added.
Satterley was discovered unresponsive in a rental car outside a CAVA in Des Plaines, Illinois, around 4 p.m. on September 27.

A 911 caller said she found Satterley “passed out” on his ride, and authorities officially declared him dead just minutes after arriving on scene.
First responders wrote in an incident report that there were no injuries or “suspicious marks” on Satterley when they located his body. However, they found that he had saliva on the front of his shirt and medications in his vehicle.
The incident report also stated that a police officer at the scene was able to make contact with a woman who knew Satterley and that she told them the wrestler had stopped for lunch before heading to the airport.
Satterley’s phone had Google Maps open and a route to O’Hare Airport displayed, according to the report.
Satterley was in the area for his gig with AEW. On September 26, he wrestled Andrade at the NOW Arena in Chicago. He ended up losing in the All Out pay-per-view contest, but then showed up in the main event match between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
Satterley was 40 when he died.
