9 new games are coming PS Plus Extra And Prime this month, but are you really satisfied with what is offered? That’s what we’re here to find out, as always.
So, starting with Extra, we have what I think is a big deal for the mid-tier subscription: Mafia: The Old Country.
This latest Mafia title hasn’t exactly set the world on fire in terms of review scores and player reception, but it’s still a solid story-driven experience, especially if you’re looking to play something with a little grit. It’s not very old either, having been released just over a year ago in August 2025.
Horizon Forbidden West is next and it’s the biggest hitter of the bunch budget-wise. PlayStation Studios’ release ended up dividing die-hard fans of the platform a bit, but there’s no doubting its quality as an open-world adventure.
Meanwhile, new indie shooter Mycopunk looks pretty cool, but in my personal opinion, it’s Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition that really makes this a strong month for Extra.
Tales of Arise is a fantasy action JRPG, and this version comes with its meaty expansion Beyond the Dawn, which takes place after the main game’s plot. There are over 100 hours of anime-infused entertainment here.
On PS Plus Premium, Dino Crisis 2 simply can’t be ignored, especially since fans have been begging Capcom to revive its once-beloved series. It’s a PS1 classic with seriousness… to bite.
