The nightly slate has entered its halftime window and we could be in store for some instant classics.
We will start in Norman, where No. 15 Kentucky trails Oklahoma 10-7 at halftime. Earlier, quarterback John Mateer was efficient, completing 15 of 20 passes at 75 percent for 167 yards and a score. Kentucky has a four-game winning streak on the line, while Oklahoma is looking for its second straight victory after beating then-No. 1 Texas last week.

No. 12 UCLA holds 10-0 shutout of Wisconsin at halftime. The Bruins are without quarterback Nico Iamaleava due to injury, but Ty Dieffenbach controlled the game going 13 of 21 for 151 yards in the first half. However, it is too early to rule out Wisconsin. The Badgers trailed then-No. 13 Penn State 17-7 at halftime before pulling off the upset.

#3 Miami is in its closest game yet, tied with rival Florida State 14-14 at halftime. Miami quarterback Darian Mensah is on pace to have his least efficient game of his Hurricane career, completing just 50 percent of his passes in the first half.
There are also two ranked versus ranked matches in progress at the moment. In the Big 12, No. 20 Houston led No. 18 Oklahoma State 14-3 after two quarters. Houston quarterback Connor Weigman threw just three incompletions while throwing two touchdowns. The Cougars defense might be the highest scoring of the half so far, allowing just 14 yards on the ground.

Another Big 12 team is in action, as No. 8 BYU has No. 2 Notre-Dame dropping its biggest deficit of the season 21-10. BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier has two rushing touchdowns and one receiving after a trap play. Notre Dame looks to end an eight-game losing streak against top 10 teams on the road.
