Kentucky Receives Another Boost in AP Poll Top 25 Rankings

Another victory for Kentucky football, another improvement in rankings in the latest Top 25 in the AP poll.

The Wildcats ranked No. 12 in this week’s AP polla four-point jump from the previous update. Kentucky is coming off a 21-13 road win over Oklahoma on Saturday, improving the team’s overall record to 6-1 with a 4-1 mark in the SEC. UK is on a five-game winning streak heading into next Saturday’s home game against unranked Vanderbilt, which has yet to win an SEC game this season (0-4).

Tickets for this Oct. 24 game at Kroger Field against the Commodores are already sold out. The hype is real with this Kentucky team. Dreams of making the College Football Playoff continue to grow with each passing week. After facing Vanderbilt, UK will take a week off before traveling to Knoxville for a showdown against No. 11 Tennessee on Nov. 7 – a matchup that could have major CFP implications.
