‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 5 Release Date and First Photos

“Mayor of Kingstown,” the crime series created by Taylor Sheridan and starring Jeremy Renner, will return for its fifth and final season on January 15.

To accompany the news, Paramount+ released 15 photos from the season, which pick up “in the aftermath of Tracy’s murder and the vengeance inflicted on Callahan by Mike (Renner) and Kyle McLusky (Taylor Handley),” according to the official diary, which continues: “FBI agent Russell Hardy (David Morse) arrives in Kingstown in search of ‘fugitive’ Callahan. A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all sins and secrets of Mike, and disrupt the fragile balance of power in Kingstown.

Alongside Renner, Handley and Morse, the cast includes Edie Falco as Nina Hobba, Laura Benanti as Cindy Stephens, Hugh Dillon as Ian Ferguson, Tobi Bamtefa as Deverin “Bunny” Washington, Derek Webster as Stevie, Necar Zadegan as Evelyn, Nichole Galicia as Rebecca and Lennie James as Frank Moses.

Sheridan co-created “Mayor of Kingstown” with Hugh Dillon, and both are executive produced by Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Wendy Riss, Evan Perazzo, Michael Slovis, Regina Corrado and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as showrunner for the series and Sheridan directed the series pilot. Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions are producing the series.
