- Roseanne Barr says her friend Lisa Marie Presley, who died in 2023, gave her details about her relationship with Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.

Roseanne Barr says the late Lisa Marie Presley told her about the men in her life.
In Presley’s case, that meant giving intimate details about his marriages to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage, to whom the rocker was briefly married.
“The best person I ran with was Lisa Marie Presley,” Barr said in an interview published Tuesday in The Hollywood Reporterafter the former sitcom star was asked if he had spent time with Madonna and Sandra Bernhard.
Barr said Presley, who died Jan. 12, 2023, at age 54, told her that Jackson was “the best layman she ever had.”
When the interviewer challenged Barr, accusing her of lying, the actress stood by her story.
“No, I’m not lying,” Barr responded. “She said he was the best teacher and he had everything she needed. She said he told her everything the girls wanted to hear.” He was “number one”.
Jackson, who died June 25, 2009 at age 50, married Presley in 1994 and they separated two years later.
Barr, 73, said she also believed Presley.
“She never lied about shit like that,” the elder said. Roseanne said the star. “She told me about Nicolas Cage and his business. She told me about everyone she was with and their business and how big it was and what it was used for and all that.”
Weekly Entertainment contacted a representative for Cage.
Presley, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, married Elvis devotee Cage on August 10, 2002. They separated less than four months later.
Barr has been making the media rounds as she promotes her new privately funded sitcom Meemaw: a modern-day fablewith Randy Quaid, Drea de Matteo and Omar Gooding.
