Microsoft revealed the second batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, and there are few real stoppers, including the console debuts of The Séance of Blake Manor and Mouthwashing, and the addition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade – which only came to Xbox earlier this year.
Second Wave of October Xbox Game Pass Monthly Games:
- Sandustry (Game Preview – PC) – October 21 on Game Pass Premium; already on Ultimate and PC Game pass

The Seance of Blake Manor, a supernatural detective mystery, was released last year on PC. It casts you as a man sent to investigate the disappearance of a young woman in a remote area of Ireland in 1879 – a man who sees more than most people would, for better and for worse. Matt Wales described it as a “fantastically atmospheric” and “incredibly tense” adventure when he wrote about The Séance of Blake Manor last year, and Blake Manor finished as our 19th favorite game of 2025 in our big annual list.
Mouthwashing, on the other hand, is a first-person horror game with a retro PS1-style aesthetic, which tells a time-jumping story aboard a ship traveling through space. “Mouthwashing is a wildly inventive horror game that plays with the boundaries of time and space to exhilarating effect, all with a joyous glint in its large, unblinking eyeball,” Katherine wrote in our Mouthwashing review.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade – an enhanced version of the first part of the Remake trilogy – was originally released in 2021, so its arrival on Xbox and Switch earlier this year has been a long time coming. Nevertheless, the FF7 Remake remains excellent, even if it is starting to show its age, as Alex Donaldson argued.
A new wave of games also means some games are leaving Xbox Game Pass. Notable releases include the Lucasarts games Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Grim Fandango Remastered, as well as the co-op game Deep Rock Galactic.
Here are the games leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered (Cloud, console and PC)
