Brewers update $1,000 ‘timeless ticket’ policy ahead of World Series vs. Rays after fan criticism

The Milwaukee Brewers are offering a new promotion to fans unhappy with the seats they received for 2026 World Series games after using a decade-old ticket promotion.

The Brewers told fans in 2015 that they could pay $1,000 for a “timeless ticket,” while promising that fans could exchange the ticket for the “best seat available” at any game in the future.

After complaints about the level of Fall Classic seats received through that promotion, the Brewers said Wednesday that fans who had already redeemed their Timeless ticket for a World Series game could use that ticket again in the future.

“We have heard feedback from some Timeless ticket holders regarding the ticket exchange process and proposed seat locations,” the Brewers’ email read (h/t Complex Sports).

The Brewers continued: “To ensure that your Timeless ticket receives the value originally intended…You will keep the World Series ticket you received this year, and your Timeless ticket can still be exchanged for a future Brewers game in a future season.”

The original terms of the Timeless Ticket promotion promised 1,000 fans a chance to purchase a ticket that could be redeemed at “any future Brewers game at Miller Park…whether it be Opening Day or Game 7 of the World Series.”

The promotion stated that the ticket “may be redeemed for the best available locations, subject to ticket availability at the time of redemption,” according to Ben Jordan of TMJ4 News.

The Brewers clinched the franchise’s first trip to the World Series since 1982 by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers from the NLCS.

Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said a few days later that the club “made an error in our internal communications about the logistics of fulfilling requests” for Timeless ticket exchanges, according to the AP’s Steve Megargee.

“While we were able to accommodate everyone with seats, we received feedback from some who were not happy with the location of their seats,” Schlesinger said. “Clearly, even with extraordinary limitations on available seats, we have not lived up to the spirit of the program, and we have been working on a resolution.”

Fans speaking with several reporters, including Jordan and Megargee, said the Brewers responded to their requests to trade the Timeless Ticket with offers for 400-level seats or standing room only.

GameTime currently lists the price of admission for Game 1 of the World Series in Milwaukee at over $2,300. First pitch against the Tampa Bay Rays is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
