Elsa Hosk was tasked with carrying THE the biggest wings at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — just months after giving birth, in fact — and made the job completely stunning and effortless. But apparently some people had negative comments about Elsa’s walk, and Gigi Hadid entered the chat to shut them up.
Defending her friend and fellow VS model on Threads (in response to a since-deleted comment), Gigi wrote: “This is seriously PMO ^Elsa killed it. I’m the biggest fan of the OG Angels; but even the scale and size of this show doesn’t compare to the OG shows. It’s a very long walk backstage these days++ they can be over 75 pounds, 10 feet tall, sometimes animatronic, etc.”
She then added that “The wings are getting bigger because the viewers love it and they are MAJOR but NOT aerodynamic, then add the flurry of fans from the runway!! It takes 3 men to take these wings off us. Elsa is gorgeous, strong and wore them like a boss. You have no idea.”
Meanwhile, Elsa celebrated her catwalk moment on Instagram, writing: “Nine shows later and somehow the butterflies never go away 🦋. I feel incredibly lucky to be back alongside all the amazing angels on the @victoriassecret show, a place that holds so many special memories for me. Two babies later, walking with these incredible wings – a little reminder that we only become stronger with the time, that motherhood adds to who we are and that age has never been the limit.”
She ended her post with “Never take any of this for granted. Always grateful to be a small part of this dream 🤍.”
