Hannah Gosselin opens up about her status with her brother Collin Gosselin and her father Jon Gosselin

Hannah Gosselin shares her position with her brother Collin Gosselin following the publication of her memoir.

Collin alleged years of abuse at the hands of their mother, Kate Gosselin, in the book “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood.” At one point, he and Hannah both chose to live with their father, Jon Gosselin.

The fact that Hannah lived with Collin and Jon for a while led many to believe that she took a side in Collin and Kate’s split, but now the 22-year-old is speaking out for herself.

“I’ve decided to take a step back from the current situation given that I haven’t lived with my dad in over a year and haven’t spoken (sic) to Collin in almost a year,” she said in a TikTok story. “That said, I have had a relationship with my mother and other siblings for several years now.”

“That’s the only thing I’m clarifying,” she added. “Beyond that, I will not comment on Collin’s behavior growing up or my experiences growing up with him.”

Hannah will have the opportunity to speak more in the upcoming Netflix documentary.

The streamer announced the project on October 21, saying in a press release: “For nearly a decade, a family’s chaos and love played out on television as comfort viewing. Years later, conflicting narratives emerged within the family itself – competing memories of the same childhood, the same house, the same spotlight. The new documentary takes a closer look, piecing together the story from every angle: the children who grew up in front of the camera, the adults who built a brand around them, and the audience who couldn’t look away. It’s an intimate look at how real life became a phenomenon the world thought it knew.

So far, the only participants listed for the documentary are Hannah, Collin and Jon. Kate and the other Gosselin siblings, Alexis, Aaden, Joel, Leah and twins Cara and Maddy, don’t appear to be participating.

Kate addressed Collin’s claims in a roundabout way on TikTok earlier this month, responding to a comment supporting her by saying: “Thank you so much. I know logical, rational people or anyone who has dealt with mental illness understands what’s going on here :).”
