Friday is iPhone Duo launch day, and many eager customers are hoping to walk into an Apple Store and get one after a complicated pre-order launch. In a new interview with TechRadarGreg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of marketing, provided an overview of demand and in-store availability of the first foldable iPhone.
Regarding in-store availability, Joswiak said, “You know, we didn’t ship them all out when we pre-ordered, we have them available in stores, we’re excited. » … “I am sure we will have satisfied customers. »
“Well, I think you saw that the demand for pre-orders last week was extraordinary,” Joswiak added. “People understood. They understood what we were doing.”
In a statement to 9to5Mac Earlier this week, Apple confirmed that stores would have “limited” availability of the iPhone Duo to walk-in customers in the countries listed below. Joz’s comments further confirm that some customers will be satisfied tomorrow.
- United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Macau, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and most stores in Italy
Joswiak will be at Apple’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York for the iPhone Duo launch tomorrow. He will likely be joined by other Apple executives, including CEO John Ternus.
