The latest commotion occurred at RAF 14’s pre-fight press conference on Thursday. Predictably, the chaos was centered around the jiu-jitsu black belt and frequent nuisances. Dillon Daniswho really has no reason to be on a wrestling mat other than to cause trouble. Danis revealed his shirt that read “Khamzat is my bitch” at the presser. When Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis faced off at RAF 10, “Borz” pinned him in 44 seconds, so the jersey doesn’t make much sense. Still, it was enough to send a notorious hothead Arman Tsarukyan apoplectic, and the top-ranked lightweight went ballistic to defend his close friend and training partner (see all of that here).
Where was Khamzat himself during all this chaos? New footage reveals that Chimaev was being held down by around four people who appear to be a mix of RAF personnel and civilians! “Borz” was desperate to get a piece of Danis and shouted, “You don’t know who your daddy is, bitch! Fuck you!”
While Danis and Tsarukyan will wrestle (and likely brawl again) in the main event of RAF 14, Chimaev is also booked to compete. In the co-main event, he will face former UFC welterweight champion. Robbie Lawler in a strange clash that appears to guarantee another dominant victory for the Russian.
