Aaron Guzikowski, creator of the HBO Max science fiction series produced by Scott Free Raised by wolvesis writing a new one Stranger film for 20th Century Studios, Deadline can confirm.
Not much else is known about the project at this stage, including whether it will follow on from the most recent installment, 2024. Extraterrestrial: Romulus. It is described as being at the very beginning of its development. Scott and Michael Pruss will produce for Scott Free, with JR Young overseeing the studio.
American screenwriter and showrunner, Guzikowski’s Raised by wolves – following two androids raising human children after the destruction of Earth in a great war – aired for two seasons. He is also best known for having written PrisonersWarner Bros.’ acclaimed police thriller in 2013 directed by Denis Villeneuve.
An iconic sci-fi horror series, Stranger revolves around humanity’s deadly and terrifying encounters with the alien species known as the Xenomorph. Fede Álvarez made the years 2024 Alien Romuluswhich grossed over $350 million worldwide.
