The reported fall came hours after Flair announced he would be unable to attend a scheduled appearance in Seattle due to a blood clot in his leg.
“My doctors have limited my trip to 3-4 hours. Seattle is outside of that range, and as disappointed as I am, I have to prioritize my health and recovery. Blood clots are extremely serious and can be life-threatening,” Flair said on mild and that I must follow medical advice.
Flair said he would have to undergo surgery on the affected vein, “which my doctors believe will allow me to be cleared to travel at a later date.”
“Please know that this decision was not made lightly. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment, and I am incredibly grateful for your patience, understanding and continued support. I look forward to good health and seeing you all on the road. Thank you for your love and support,” Flair added.
Tampa Fire Rescue told OutKick and Fox News Digital it responded to a fall outside the facility and an adult male was taken to a local hospital. The department did not name Flair, saying it could not “provide any details about the patient due to HIPPA guidelines.”
Flair, 77, has battled health and alcohol issues over the years.
