RAF 14 results: Khamzat Chimaev crushes Robbie Lawler and promises to break Colby Covington’s neck

Khamzat Chimaev added another UFC champion to his tally with a dominant win over Robbie Lawler at RAF 14 on Friday.

The former UFC middleweight champion wasted no time racking up the points in rapid fashion and Lawler simply had no answer in the lightning-fast match.

Chimaev wasted no time on a quick takedown to open the match before the celebration resumed. A moment later, Chimaev pulled Lawler to the mat again and he hooked into the gut wrench with the turn and he was already up 8-0.

Chimaev then attacked again and got another two-point score to go up 10-0 and end the match.

Chimaev’s latest victory ended with 20 seconds left in the first period.

Afterwards, Chimaev turned his attention to RAF Abu Dhabi where he faces Colby Covington in a crossover championship main event.

“Happy to finally get his guy and break his neck,” Chimaev said of the former UFC interim welterweight champion.

Chimaev also discussed a possible melee involving teammate Arman Tsarukyan and Dillon Danis after a near-riot broke out between them Thursday during the press conference.

“I am ready for anything,” Chimaev said. “If Arman (Tsarukyan) wants to kill him, we kill him.”

Aside from this possible brawl, Chimaev is now preparing for his next match in three weeks when he competes for the RAF Crossover Championship against Covington in the main event in Abu Dhabi.
