Kansas City Garth Brooks ticket sales halted due to bots

KANSAS CITY, MO. —

“The robot situation is out of control.”

That’s the message shared Friday by country music superstar Garth Brooks, along with his apology.

Ticket sales for Garth Brooks’ third show scheduled for T-Mobile Center next month have been halted due to what organizers are calling “excessive bot activity.”

In a message also shared by the T-Mobile Center, officials said Brooks and the promoters are evaluating the next steps and future of the show.

Brooks said the bot situation for tickets got progressively worse throughout the tour, and the bots managed to derail the sale on Friday.

“I worry about the people who managed to buy tickets today for the third show in Kansas City before the bots destroyed the sale,” Brooks said.

“I will personally review what can be done. You have my word that whatever can be done will be done. You have my sincerest apologies for the results and my sincerest appreciation for your efforts today.”

Brooks announced earlier this week that he was adding a third show to his Kansas City stop on the “Blame It All On My Roots” tour due to high demand.

He has already sold out the T-Mobile Center 16 times.

Tickets for that show were priced at $155, with a $140 price tag, $5 facility fee and $10 service fee, plus tax, according to a news release. Every place in the house was the same price.

Tickets were sold through AXS.
