You only turn 40 once…
Drake reportedly went all out for his milestone birthday, treating his guests to Chanel bags, a $1 million cash prize and a surprise performance by the Backstreet Boys.
The rapper threw a splashy party at the exclusive Casa Cipriani hotel in New York on Friday, inviting more than 400 friends and family, according to TMZ.
The outlet also reported that the iconic ’90s boy band — made up of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson — kept the party going with a nostalgic performance.
The “One Dance” singer reportedly “spared no expense,” treating partygoers to lavish gifts, including designer handbags from luxury brands like Chanel and Hermés.
He also reportedly turned the party into a game show, giving lucky guests the chance to win cash prizes ranging from tens of thousands of dollars to a million dollars, according to TMZ.
He was dressed for the occasion, pictured arriving at the party in a tuxedo with a shimmering jacket.
Drake, born Aubrey Graham, is no stranger to the luxury lifestyle.
In August, the “God’s Plan” singer showed off his one-of-a-kind diamond-encrusted Rolex Daytona on Instagram, calling the ice-cold watch “the most important thing I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning.”
The custom design was created to celebrate “the record-breaking milestones of 2026,” Drake wrote in the caption, seemingly referencing his trio of album releases this year, including “Iceman.”
He even had the words “Freeze the World,” a lyric from his song “Make Them Know” from “Iceman,” engraved on the back of the watch in blue letters — the custom-made Rolex worth up to $5 million.
“Please don’t ask your local jeweler to recreate it,” Drake urged his followers, adding, “It’s a standalone piece and a part of history.”
Last year, the OVO founder gave fans a glimpse of his $185 million private jet after receiving a series of upgrades.
He showed off his Boeing 767 on Instagram in July 2025, revealing a bedroom with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV and mirrored walls.
Drake also showed off the main living room, complete with faux fur seating adorned with custom pillows and a game table, as well as a movie screening area and three additional bedrooms for guests wanting to “get away from it all.”
