Chris Rock says Los Angeles is where people go to chase their dreams – and where many of those dreams die.
The comedian reflected on his decades in Hollywood during an appearance Monday on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” while discussing “Misty Green,” a film he stars in and directs that will be released Oct. 9.
The film follows an actress who moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. After her career ended, she began to look for a goal in a second act. Rock said he related to the story, recalling that he thought Los Angeles was “so beautiful” when he first moved there.
