Manni L. Perez, the actress rumored to play Lucia in GTA6went viral after dodging a swarm of comments from Grand Theft Auto fans during a recent livestream.
Rockstar Games has held back from confirming the vast majority of the cast for next month’s new GTA game, but as if there was any doubt, that hasn’t stopped hungry fans from putting together a list of their own. Perez is a name that theorists have been talking about for years, so she took a few minutes to let thousands of viewers get to know her while masterfully dodging a swarm of GTA 6 comments along the way.
Reaching a peak of more than 2,100 viewers on a six-month-old Instagram account with just nine posts, Perez spent his 12-minute livestream talking about his life growing up in a “small, rural, redneck town.” She lives in a studio with a dog, loves to cook, grew up driving trucks, and for everyone’s sake, officially, she definitely won’t be the star of the so-called greatest video game of all time in just under a month.
“But yeah, no, I’m not rich. I’m a regular person,” Perez said while responding to fans who thought she was rich. “I live in a little studio apartment, which I love. I have my tiny kitchen, and it’s just me and my dog. I do everything myself, and I’ve been doing everything by myself for a really long time, and I love it, and I’m so grateful. I have a family that loves me, and I just feel like I’m in a really good place where I am in my life.”
“I want a green truck,” she said with a smile while ignoring comments from the horde mentioning “Lucia” and “GTA 6.” Some said no, in fact she doesn’t live alone, because she has Jason to keep her company. Others were more subtle, asking if she would play Rockstar’s latest track or if she was just “ready for next month.” Despite the constant stream of responses begging her to confirm her alleged role — which would be protected by a strict nondisclosure agreement, even if it were real — Perez only acknowledged users’ comments about something else.
Keep in mind that this all comes from years of fan-gathered clues, but the lack of confirmation from Rockstar doesn’t mean there’s nothing to suggest Perez is playing Lucia in GTA 6. As others have pointed out, the actress has a history of both live action and voice roles. She has credits for single episodes of shows like Jessica Jones, The Blacklist, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Oddly enough, she also played a blackjack dealer in Grand Theft Auto Online.
Its place in Rockstar history could be cemented when GTA 6 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S next month on November 19. If you’re wondering who might play Lucia’s partner in crime, Jason, fans have long speculated that Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy actor Dylan Rourke has filled the role, but he too has yet to be confirmed.
Who has been confirmed, whether Rockstar and potential NDAs like it or not, is Stephen Root, who said he would be seen playing drug dealer Brian Heder. Otherwise, we may have to wait until launch to see the full cast, so don’t message any actors just yet.
Fans may have found the voice actors behind one of the biggest game launches of all time, but it’s no different when it comes to Grand Theft Auto players. A fan spent three months mapping planetary positions just trying to figure out when trailer 3 would be released (they were wrong). Another fan oxygen levels measured to try to achieve the same feat (they were wrong too).
Regardless, GTA 6’s marketing is continue to gain momentum. While waiting for these last few precious weeks you can see why some fans expect a sweep at The Game Awards 2026.
