Chrishell Stause and G Flip split after four years together.
The “Selling Sunset” alum, 45, shared the “humbling update” in a tearful video posted to her Instagram on Monday, October 26, noting that she is still in love with the 33-year-old Australian singer.
“G and I are no longer together and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other,” Stause said. “It’s not hard for me because I’m in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons. I’m sure, as always with time, you get the lessons you’re supposed to get. And I know it will happen, and I will heal, and everything will be okay. We will definitely never do this again.”
USA TODAY has reached out to a G Flip representative for comment.
Stause, who married G Flip in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in 2023 after a year of dating, continued: “I just felt like you deserved a little more than a cold written statement because you guys have been so supportive and so loving, and I really appreciate that. Maybe you know you can still do it, but it would have to be separate.”

Admitting that she feels “a bit like a failure”, the actress said she has been hard on herself throughout the whole experience.
“There’s nothing you can say about me that’s worse than what I tell myself. So I just have to heal and figure that out,” Stause added. “It’s hard. It’s painful. I’m a sweetheart. I swing big. I miss it — or maybe I don’t miss it. Maybe these are the lives and seasons we’re meant to have with people, and I spent over four incredible years with G. So maybe it’s not a miss.”
Stause explained that she “accepts that this is a different ending than you imagined” and that she doesn’t “know what I hope for myself” in the future.
“It’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it. But I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing. And it sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I want that for both of us,” she concluded.

The former couple first met on Halloween 2021, when Stause was dating her costar and “Selling Sunset” boss Jason Oppenheim, and G Flip was also dating someone else. They later reconnected and Stause confirmed the romance during a reunion special for the Netflix series airing in May 2022.
“Recently I’ve been spending a lot of time with someone who is very important to me. His name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they’re called them,” Stause said at the time. “And he’s an extremely talented musician.”
In May 2023, they married in a ceremony in Las Vegas, revealing the special day with an Instagram video featuring a clip of them at the altar. G Flip’s song “Be Your Man,” dedicated to Stause, played in the background of the post.

Later that month, G Flip told People, “It was probably the best day of my life, and we had so much fun, and it was just super beautiful and super cute.
“It will forever be one of the most beautiful memories of my life,” they added.
