ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Blues condemned what they called an anti-Semitic demonstration during a game last week at the Enterprise Center.
Signs reading “Israel kills” and “Free America from Israel” were held up by fans in the stands Thursday as the Blues faced the Vegas Golden Knights.
In a statement released Monday, Blues owner Tom Stillman called the signs “vile messages of hate” that were “unfortunate and unforgivable.”
Stillman said fans holding the banners were removed from the arena.
Freedom Convoy 2026, which said it was responsible for the protest, disagreed with Stillman’s characterization of the signs.
“Criticizing Israel is in no way anti-Semitic,” the group said in a statement.
