Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce burned down their wedding decor after $30 million ceremony: report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish $30 million wedding reportedly ended with their custom decor burning down.

A source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that Swift’s team asked crew members to “get rid of” the extravagant decorations to ensure there were “no traces” left behind.

“They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it,” the insider told the outlet.

The custom-made furniture, which included monogrammed items featuring two interlocking Ts and garden-like structures, was reportedly transported from New York to Pennsylvania – where it was originally built – to be burned.

“They told us he was going to be cremated, but I don’t know where they physically cremated him,” the source added.

The source also said the sets were transported in 11 semi-trailers which were reportedly “super packed”.

“The fact that no one has relics of it and everything had to be burned and disposed of properly is a little crazy,” the insider said. “Eleven tractor-trailers to haul across the country and then burn it all down was pretty crazy, just because you don’t want people (to have access to it).”

Swift herself did not make this request, although she participated in planning and designing the ceremony because she “didn’t just want to be given a wedding,” according to the Daily Mail.

Page Six reached out to representatives for Swift and MSG for comment, but did not immediately respond.

Swift, 36, and Kelce, 37, tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in front of more than 1,000 guests, including stars Selena Gomez, Brad Pitt, Dakota Johnson and Ed Sheeran.

The Daily Mail reported Monday that the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs had scrapped plans for a double-decker carousel and artificial pond at their nuptials.

The carousel was reportedly removed above its $7 million price tag and replaced with a large tent for carnival games, while the pond, which was planned under the altar, was abandoned for safety reasons and because it “would require too much engineering.”

“The edges weren’t high enough and it would be very easy to fall,” a source told the outlet.

An eyewitness recently gave Page Six previously unknown details about the ceremony, which included food booths, bars and even a “castle” where the reception took place.

The festivities, which Kelce would later consider “the best night of my life,” were also filmed by multiple camera crews, with a source telling Page Six: “It was like you were on a movie set.” »
