Taylor Farms, the produce giant linked to the nation’s largest-ever cyclospora outbreak that sickened more than 20,000 people this summer, has issued a new salad recall.

Taylor Farms of Dallas is recalling Backyard BBQ Rib Salad Kits sold at HEB stores because they may contain allergens that are not properly listed on their packaging, according to an Oct. 27 notice from the Food and Drug Administration.

The recalled kits contain undeclared soy and nuts (almonds) which may trigger reactions in sensitive or allergic individuals. No adverse effects have been reported to date.

Taylor Farms has been in the news regularly this year after health officials identified iceberg lettuce grown by Taylor Farms of Mexico as the source of an unprecedented outbreak of cyclosporosis, a gastrointestinal illness caused by the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis. The FDA declared the outbreak over in September and said on October 2 that it had completed its investigation, which found that cyclospora was present in the environment where the lettuce was grown and processed. This latest recall is not related to Cyclospora or Taylor Farms of Mexico.

Here’s what you need to know.
