Samsung’s Upcoming Foldable Leaks in Official-Looking Renders

A few days ago, a leaked image gave us a first look at Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the W27. This will launch in China on October 29, as the latest member of the W series. The W devices are basically fancier Chinese versions of the company’s latest Z series book-style foldable. So this year the W27 will be a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in a dark blue finish with gold accents.

The handset has the same camera island setup as the Galaxy Z Fold8, unsurprisingly, but adds the iconic gold W series logo on the back, near the bottom. According to previous rumors, the W27 will be identical, in terms of specifications, to the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. It will most likely be offered in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, if what’s happened in the past is anything to go by.

The price will definitely be high, since it’s a premium version of an already expensive device, and we should also take into account the top-notch RAM and storage amounts. Either way, all will be revealed in a few days, so stay tuned.
