Emma Roberts couldn’t let Wednesday go by without sending some love to her aunt Julia Roberts, who was celebrating her 59th birthday.
“Happy Birthday Aunt Julia,” Emma captioned a photo of the two kissing at what appears to be her July 25 wedding to Cody John, with Emma wearing a white dress and her aunt wearing brown pants and a cream blouse. “I love you beyond!!”
The youngest Roberts is the daughter of Julia’s brother, Eric, an actor known for his work in films including The Black Knight, ConsumablesAnd Cecil B. Demented.
Even though she and her father had a rocky relationship over the years, Emma and Julia always seemed at least close.

In 2022, it was Julia who shared the tribute, wishing the “Magic” a happy birthday.
She added: “Oh how I love you.”
Emma has said in interviews that she was on set while her aunt was filming films such as Erin Brockovitchfor which Julia won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2001, and the romantic comedy America’s Loversreleased the same year.
“I would write the wardrobe labels, organize the makeup brushes and watch how they made their continuity books,” Emma said. Tatler in March 2022. “I would ask questions without filter. This industry is really about ‘learning as you go.’
Julia’s husband, Danny Moder, whom she married in July 2002, after meeting him while he was filming her 2001 film with Brad Pitt, The Mexicanalso paid tribute.
Cinematographer and camera operator Moder captioned a shot of his wife smiling around a cake with lit candles, while he kissed her shoulder.
“Celebrating every day…but October 28th the most,” Moder captioned the post. “More candles bring more joy. I love you so much.”
Both are parents of three children: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus (“Finn”), aged 21, and their younger brother, Henry, aged 19.

The birthday that will mark one year until British Julia’s 60th birthday Vogue republished an interview from February 2024 according to which the Steel Magnolias the actress was done with Notting Hill by director Richard Curtis, in which she argued when he insisted she was “unchanged” from her younger years.
At first, she joked that she had a secret to slowing aging: “Pickling. I put my head in the jar every other Saturday for 18 hours. It works wonders. The smell is horrible.”
She then gave a more serious answer.
“Good genes, living a fulfilling life, and I’ve said this — and I usually say it as kind of a joke — but I believe in the love of a good man,” Julia said. “I believe my husband loves me and cares for me in a way that makes me deeply happy. And any time you see someone who is happy, no matter how old they are.”
