Alaska’s Republican governor orders investigation into Democrat Mary Peltola’s campaign

Alaska’s governor said Wednesday night that he is ordering an investigation into whether the campaign for Democratic candidate Mary Peltola should face criminal charges or civil suits over accusations that she helped recruit an outside candidate for the Senate race.
