Apple today released Xcode 27.2 and reveals the amount of RAM in the new fourth-generation Apple TV 4K and the new iPad mini with an OLED display.
As expected, the new Apple TV 4K with the A19 chip is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, while the new iPad mini with the A20 Pro chip has 12 GB of RAM.
For good measure, Xcode shows that the iPhone Duo is equipped with 12 GB of RAM.
None of these RAM amounts are surprising, but Apple doesn’t list this information in its technical specifications for these devices, so it’s worth confirming.
An industry-wide shortage of memory chips has caused RAM and storage chip prices to skyrocket, leading Apple to raise prices this year on many products, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, HomePods, Apple TV 4K, and more.
