Meghan Markle praised her and Prince Harry’s two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, for bringing her “joy” amid her estranged father Thomas Markle’s child pornography scandal.
“This year has reminded me how much joy can be found in the moments that make up a life,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote in a message for her lifestyle brand As Ever’s 2026 holiday catalog, per People.
Markle, 45, said “evening cuddles with my kids” brought her happiness, as did “travel and adventure,” “time in the garden” and “starting this business.”
The “Suits” alum also mentioned feeling joy after “an autumn of new adventures,” referring to the family’s shocking return to the UK.
“It all mattered. It all felt meaningful,” she shared.
Markle explained that the holidays are an opportunity “to come together a little more, to do things with our hands, to set the table with care and to give generously to the people we love.”
Later in her post, Markle thanked her As Ever customers “for sharing their joy” and welcoming the brand “into your homes and hearts.”
“We never take this for granted,” she wrote. “It is such a joy to share these moments with you, and I hope this holiday season brings many more to savor.”
Markle’s estranged father is currently under investigation for allegedly possessing “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sexual abuse images.
His son, Thomas Jr., claimed to have turned over the alleged images to local police in July after discovering them among “family moments,” he told the US Sun last week.
Thomas Sr. vehemently denied his son’s claims, calling them “sick lies,” while his daughter, Samantha Markle, accused her brother of a “revenge” plot.
Markle, meanwhile, said in a statement that she was “deeply distressed” by the allegations.
The “With Love, Meghan” star also admitted to knowing about the allegations against her father since 2018, the same year she married Harry, 42.
“I hope that we can now understand that, despite the distortion of some media publications over the years, any distance from my father and my choice not to allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason only: to protect them,” Markle said.
The Sussexes and their two children have since reportedly left the UK after returning there in August.
Last December, Markle wrote her final letter to her father while he was recovering from having his leg amputated, allegedly declaring that he would never meet his children.
She also swore that Thomas Sr. would never hear from her again.
