Travis Kelce turned 37 on Monday, October 5, but her best present wasn’t a gift box. It was the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 4, that propelled the team to 4-0 heading into the bye week.
In the episode of Wednesday October 7 New heights podcast, the Chiefs tight end told his brother, Jason Kelcethat winning the NFL game was the best thing about his birthday. When Jason, 38, reminded him that the win came the day before his birthday, Travis said the win was the best gift because a loss would have ruined his birthday “for sure.” He joked that “losing ruins everyone’s life. It’s the worst thing that can happen.”
“If I had lost, it would have ruined my birthday, that’s for sure,” he added.

Still, the day itself was “good,” Travis admitted. “It was a fun day. I ate here in New York and went to one of my favorite places, Torrisi. I got to spend some time with Tay,” he said, referring to his wife. Taylor Swift.
There was no traditional birthday cake, but the restaurant more than made up for it with treats.
“They pulled out the whole arsenal,” said Travis, delighted with the frozen yogurt and espresso chip frozen dessert layered with ice cream and chocolate. He admitted it was “weird,” but ultimately “nice.”
Torrisi, a Michelin-starred Italian-American restaurant in New York’s Nolita neighborhood, opened in 2022. In a review of “good” frozen yogurt, The New York Times was delighted that it “had the softness of freshly churned ice cream”.
