Zendaya’s Halloween look is turning heads.
The Emmy-winning actor channeled his inner Halle Berry, serving up Y2K reality with his perfect recreation of Berry’s look for the July 2000 premiere of “X-Men” in New York.
Zendaya, like Berry, wore a tiny yellow printed string bikini top with matching low-rise pants and dark tinted sunglasses.
The “Euphoria” alum made fans see double when she posted photos against a glass wall, even mimicking Berry’s stance on the red carpet.
The only thing missing, according to fellow stylist and designer Phillip Bloch, was the diamond chain he had made for the closures of Berry’s bikini top. Bloch revealed that he made Berry’s top from the hem of the pants.
In addition to the diamond-encrusted closures, Berry wore a silver belly chain, silver heels, a sheer black button-up, accessories that were missing from Zendaya’s look.
Law Roach, Zendaya’s stylist and longtime friend, shared a clip along with some snaps of Zendaya and Berry at the premiere.
“Zendaya channels Halle Berry wearing @lanvin fall 2000,” Roach captioned the Saturday, October 31, post. “Thank you @petercopping and @aliix_long Halle styled by the legendary @phillipbloch.”
Berry caught wind of the costume, amid all the hubbub, and dropped a string of red hearts in the comments section.

Berry first recognized the “Challengers” star channeling her signature pixie at the 2026 Emmy Awards.
The “Catwoman” actress shared three posts dedicated to Zendaya on her Instagram Stories with a side-by-side comparison of Berry’s Emmys ensemble and outfit from the “Die Another Day” premiere in Los Angeles in 2002. Berry added an animated heart and tagged Zendaya and Roach, who first shared the photo on Instagram.

Roach confirmed that Berry influenced Zendaya’s look in an interview shared by Refinery29.
“She murdered that night,” Berry wrote while reposting the clip, People reported.
During a 2021 Sundance Film Festival panel, Berry called Zendaya’s success “proof positive that things are changing” for Black women in Hollywood.
