If Browns defensive end Jared Verse wants to complain about the Steelers being dirty, the Steelers are apparently going to give him something to complain about.
On the extra point try after Pittsburgh’s first touchdown of the game, Steelers guard Mason McCormick lifted Verse off the ground and I threw it on my head, In the style of Joe “Turkey” Jones.
Verse took McCormick’s helmet with him as he made his journey from the air to the earth.
McCormick was penalized on the play, and he will likely be fined. But it sends a first message to a player who dared to push the black and gold bear.
