Week 8 of Dancing with the stars Season 35 will take place on a special night, airing its episode live on Monday, November 2, instead of its usual Tuesday evening slot. Unfortunately, no professional dancers will be present for the broadcast.
Before the episode, Adele Zaikman announced that she was too ill to appear on Monday’s show.
“Unfortunately I am not feeling well and I will not be performing in the first issue of Dancing with the stars tomorrow,” Zaikman shared on his Instagram Story. “I’m so sad to miss a show day, but I’m going to use this time to take care of myself. Sending so much love to everyone in this ballroom. I’ll be cheering you on from home.”

Zaikman and his famous partner, Conner Leavitt, were eliminated during the first week of competition, but the eliminated pros are still an integral part of every live broadcast. In addition to participating in the weekly opening numbers, they are also sometimes used as troupe dancers throughout the show.
This was Zaikman’s first season as DWTS pro. She came to the show as the winner of Dancing with the Stars: The Next Probut unfortunately his trip was short-lived. However, she and Leavitt will be back for the season 35 finale on November 24.
The November 2 episode is Disney Night-themed, with the eight remaining couples dancing to songs from Disney’s Broadway shows. There will also be two free team dances, with hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough each joining a team for the numbers. At the end of the evening, one additional pair will be eliminated.
