The Lions coach was also asked what exactly Jack Campbell means to the team as a player and person.
“I don’t even know if I can put it into words,” Dan Campbell said before adding. “He’s trustworthy, he’s dependable. He’d give you his jersey. He’s just all heart, all effort. He’s just an incredible person. Down to earth, very genuine. There’s not a man on this team that doesn’t respect Jack Campbell and care about him.”

What happened to Jack Campbell?
Campbell was injured while confronting Vikings tight end TJ Hockenson in the fourth quarter. Campbell hit the veteran tight end in the hip with his helmet and remained on the ground after the play.
Campbell received treatment from training staff and medical staff after his injury and a cart eventually arrived to take him off the field. He was then loaded onto the cart via a backboard and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Campbell’s Lions teammates knelt and looked worried as the 26-year-old linebacker was treated by medical staff. Aidan Hutchinson, Edge’s edge rusher, was among those crying as play was halted.
