“Nobody wants that”: Kristen Bell’s romantic series renewed for season 4

Nov. 6 (UPI) — Nobody wants that will return for a fourth season on Netflix.

The streaming service announced Friday that it has renewed the series starring Kristen Bell (Véronique Mars) and Adam Brody (The CO) for season 4.

Nobody wants that is a romantic comedy created, written, produced and co-hosted by Erin Foster. The show follows the interfaith romance between Noah (Brody), a Jewish rabbi, and Joanne (Bell), an agnostic woman.

Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn also star.

“We are very happy and excited to be doing another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we are airing,” Foster and co-showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan told Netflix’s Tudum.

Season 4 will open following Joanne and Noah’s marriage and Joanne’s conversion to Judaism.

“The show isn’t over when Joanne becomes Jewish. It’s two people from different worlds coming together and making it work,” Foster said. “They’re figuring out how to live together because they approach things differently. There’s still a learning curve.”

Season 3 was released on October 22 on Netflix.
