Anthony Constantino took a page from the Trump playbook by aggressively berating a female reporter.

A firebrand New York Republican collapsed after the Daily Beast accurately reported that he was attacking a female reporter.
Anthony Constantino launched into a profanity-laced tirade as he declared victory in New York’s 21st District election against Democrat Blake Gendebien, even though the Associated Press did not call the race.
During his victory speech, Constantino launched a Trump-style attack on the “evil media” for reporting on his aggressive, confrontational campaign style and social media rhetoric.
“Listen, you bastards. Listen, you bastards. Telling people the truth is the right thing to do,” Constantino said. “You guys are assholes… You’re a bunch of fucking assholes.”
Anthony Constantino once gave the president a bronze statue of himself.
Constantino, 44, chose reporter Kate Lisa, 33, of City & State New York, who last month wrote a story about how veteran political consultant and top Trump ally Roger Stone suggested that Constantino “be a little nicer” as he sought to win the solidly red seat vacated by Rep. Elise Stefanik.
“Roger Stone is a unique person in American history who, for whatever reason, has been behind many of our great political leaders, and he is misunderstood,” Constantino said. “Sometimes the evil media, especially Kate Lisa, calls him an ‘a—–e’.”

“I’ll be honest with you. I think Kate Lisa is bullshit. She is,” he said.
The Daily Beast covered Constantino’s outburst with the headline “Trumpy Little Rep Launches Vile Attack on Young Woman.”
An angry Constantino shared a screenshot of the cover while launching into another expletive-filled tirade.

“Hey Daily Beast, your misleading headline is typical Evil News: First I called Kate Lisa an a—–e because she first called my friend Roger Stone an a—–e, then said I was also an—–e, citing anonymous sources who called me an a—–e,” Constantino posted.
“Second, calling her a ‘young lady’ is a lie. Kate is a vicious member of Evil News who looks much older than me.”
Roger Stone encouraged Anthony Constantino to launch his run for Congress.
During the same speech, Constantino demanded that a journalist be kicked out of the event and threatened New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
One of his aides described the speech as “like Trump’s, but on steroids.” In real life, Constantino is actually several centimeters shorter than the 80-year-old president.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, standing about 5’7, endorsed Congressman-elect Anthony Constantino.
Trump claims to be 6’3″, but some past records place him at 6’2″, while Constantino is between 5’5″ and 5’7″.
Despite his controversies, including sharing a vile AI-generated deepfake video of his Democratic opponent, Gendebien, appearing to say he supports rape, human trafficking and child abuse, Constantino may be one of the few Republicans capable of claiming a successful midterm run.
He leads Gendebien by two percentage points, with about 95 percent of the votes counted.
In Lisa’s City & State New York report, a Republican Party member described Constantino as a “jacka – who has no place in Congress or public life.”
“He’s not fit to serve in Washington. That bar is really, really low, and he hasn’t met the bar in my book.”
