Tiger Woods prepares for change of plea hearing in Florida DUI case
Golf legend Tiger Woods returns to court in Florida after his arrest for driving under the influence. “That’s So Criminal” host Lynden Blake joins “Fox & Friends First” to discuss details of the case and a separate case in which five suspects in a Pennsylvania cocaine trafficking ring are preparing to appear in court.
It was a family reunion for Charlie Woods on Friday, as his father and mother, whose high-profile divorce, were together again to celebrate his college commitment.
Woods, the son of 15-time major winner Tiger, announced earlier this year his commitment to play golf at Florida State University.
The Woods family, including Tiger’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren, was on hand at Charlie’s high school to celebrate.

Charlie announced his engagement in February.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to play golf at Florida State University – go Noles!” he wrote.
“Congratulations Charlie. I’m so proud of you for entering this next chapter of your life,” Tiger commented.
It’s a rare public appearance for Tiger, who has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since his arrest in March.

He was arrested for drunk driving following a car accident in which police later found hydrocodone pills in his pocket. It was his second DUI in less than a decade. Woods previously told law enforcement before field sobriety tests that he had undergone seven back surgeries and “over 20 leg surgeries.” He told law enforcement that “I take a few” prescription medications.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital, deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office reported observing several signs of impairment at the scene, noting that the golf legend was “sweating profusely” and his movements appeared “lethargic and slow.” Law Enforcement conducted field sobriety tests based on their suspicions. Woods was instructed to remove his glasses, and the deputy conducting the tests said his eyes appeared “bloodshot and glassy” and “extremely dilated.”
Shortly after his arrest, Woods announced he was seeking treatment.
Nordegren was reportedly “concerned” after the legendary golfer’s arrest.

Tiger’s return to the golf course is yet to be determined – he hasn’t played since the 2024 Open Championship. When he was arrested in March, he said he was “hoping” to play in April’s Masters, but ultimately missed the entire 2026 season.
