Nintendo just held its latest Q&A with investors, something they do after almost every quarterly report. This is the time when investors and others can speak directly to top Nintendo officials to get answers to a number of questions. Shigeru Miyamoto has been participating in these questions and answers for a long time, but unfortunately he had to withdraw this year.
While we don’t have details on the matter, Nintendo revealed that Miyamoto had to ignore investors’ questions and answers due to a “sudden health issue.” The good news is that Nintendo says Miyamoto is currently in stable condition and should recover within a few days to a week.
We’ll keep an eye on the situation to see if any further details are revealed regarding Miyamoto’s condition, and we’ll definitely let you know when he’s back in action and resumed his usual work routine.
