This week in the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons will face off in Madrid, the Green Bay Packers will look to spoil Rob Gronkowski’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction in New England, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to make up ground in the NFC South against the Chicago Bears.
Injuries are mounting across the league as we pass the halfway point of the 2026 season, including at the quarterback position. Shedeur Sanders will make his first start of the season for the Cleveland Browns in place of Deshaun Watson as they take on the New Orleans Saints, Drew Lock will replace Sam Darnold in the Seattle Seahawks’ lineup and Carson Wentz will try to make the most of his opportunity against the Buffalo Bills with Kyler Murray sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Another notable injury story involves new Seahawks offensive guard Quenton Nelson. Barely a week after trading a third-round pick and a future fifth-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts for the eight-time Pro Bowl left guard, head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Nelson needed minor knee surgery. NFL Media reports that this involves cleaning the cartilage, as fragments are a problem. Seattle says Nelson will stay off injured reserve for now on a week-to-week basis. This means the Seahawks offensive line will likely return to its old format, with Gray Zabel at left guard and Anthony Bradford at right guard.
Below, we’ll detail the final injury reports for all teams playing on Sunday, starting with our international match in Spain.

Good news for the Bengals, as cornerback DJ Turner is out of the report due to his heel injury and will face the Falcons. Although Johnson is questionable, he was a full participant in Friday’s practice. Safety Jordan Battle was limited by a hamstring injury earlier in the week, but he has no game designation until Sunday.
It is doubtful that James Pearce Jr. will debut in 2026 due to a prior issue. He was suspended for the first eight games of the season following his arrest in February. Despite being a limited participant in practice all week, Atlanta’s RB2 Robinson has already been ruled out.
Dallas Cowboys (-5.5) vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Cowboys have ruled out two players, Lawrence and Turpin, but have several notable names listed as questionable, such as Ferguson, Overshown, Porter and Pickens. For the Chiefs, first-round pick Peter Woods was ruled out after missing practice all week with a neck injury.
Detroit Lions (-6.5) vs. Miami Dolphins

It’s Joe Milton’s time in Philadelphia, but his replacement, McKee, is questionable to play due to a rib injury. The Eagles will once again be without several notable starters such as Campbell, Smith and Wicks. Milton’s top receivers will have to be Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper and Hollywood Brown.
Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) vs. Washington Commanders
The bye week did the Rams no favors, as they are expected to be shorthanded in the secondary on Sunday. Watson has already been ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, and Curl and McDuffie are questionable to play. McDuffie hasn’t practiced all week.
Jayden Daniels will be without a few of his players this week, with Brown and Burks being ruled out on Friday. It is doubtful whether Newton will be able to play due to his pectoral injury, although he was a full participant in practice all week.
Denver Broncos (-2.5) vs. Carolina Panthers
The Panthers lost several notable names again this week, as Phillips, Lewis and Okereke will be missing from the lineup when the Broncos come to town. The secondary continues to be shorthanded, as rookie Lee has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

What is good news for the Broncos, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been a full participant all week with his chest issue and has no game designations until Week 9.
Houston Texans (-6) against the Los Angeles Chargers
The Texans will be without Montgomery for another week, while Blankenship will miss his second straight game with a concussion and hand injury.
Rookie Thompson is listed as questionable for the Chargers after not practicing all week. The other three players listed as questionable for Los Angeles in Awosika, Njoku and Perryman, participated in limited practice all week.

AJ Brown will miss another game for the Patriots due to his lower body issues. He’s only been active for three games and has yet to break the 50-yard receiving mark. As for Henderson, he announced Friday that he was dealing with a “unusual medical emergency“It required hospitalization. The Patriots are officially calling it an illness, but it’s fair to expect him to miss some time.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. San Francisco 49ers (-10)
Raiders corner Darien Porter is listed as questionable, but he was a full participant in Friday’s practice.
Brock Purdy will once again be without his top receivers, as Evans, Samuel and Kirk have already been ruled out. Hobbs, Neal, Robinson and Stout — all of whom are listed as questionable — were limited participants in Friday’s practice.

Drew Lock also won’t have to start Shaheed, as he has been ruled out with a knee injury.
