Anderson moved into her home in 2020 after selling her house in Malibu. Her current house once belonged to her grandmother. The actress decided to renovate the property and a massive renovation was soon underway.
“When I got home, I said to myself, ‘I’m going to rewrite my life and I’m going to start with this property,’” Anderson said. Today. “And it became like an art project. It really took my heart and soul.”

She started with her garden. “When I moved to restart, I immediately thought: I’m going to create an incredible garden,” she told Architectural compendium. “The garden is such a metaphor: you can replant your garden every year, rotate your crops. I started learning a lot about it and thought: This is how I want my life to be.”
Anderson set a budget of $750,000 and shared a sneak peek of the renovations on HGTV in Canada in 2022 with a show called Pamela’s Garden of Eden.
