Catherine Zeta-Jones has a sassy explanation for not finishing her husband Michael Douglas’ explosive memoir

Catherine Zeta-Jones is too busy to finish reading her husband Michael Douglas’ new memoir.

The actress made the admission on Thursday’s “Today” show after Douglas exclusively told Page Six that she was “reading the tell-all called ‘One Helluva Ride.’

“It’s true,” she admitted. “As much as I love my husband, when I’m tired at night, I have no intention of reading about him. At all.”

Zeta-Jones explained that over the past year she has traveled around the world filming several television shows.

“Look, I just finished season 3 of “Wednesday.” We filmed in Dublin for seven months.

Immediately after filming wrapped, Zeta-Jones flew to London to film her new Prime Video show, “Kill Jackie,” which premiered last week.

“Then I went to Bilbao, Spain and now I’m here talking to you, Will, on the fabulous ‘Today’ show.”

“But everyone should (read it),” the “Chicago” star told the audience. “The book is called ‘One Helluva Rid’ and I think everyone should keep their cowboy hats on, because I think they should.”

On Wednesday, Douglas acknowledged his wife’s busy schedule to Page Six, adding that he warned her about some racy passages in the book.

“I’m glad I got him out,” said the Oscar winner, who has been married to “soul mate” Zeta-Jones since November 2000.

“We’re in our 26th year (of marriage) and I really enjoy her company. She’s so talented and funny.”

The longtime couple – who briefly split in 2013 – share two children, son Dylan, 26, and daughter Carys, 23.

In the novel, released Tuesday in libraries, the filmmaker did not hesitate to discuss his colorful past, including his affairs with Kathleen Turner during the filming of “Romancing the Stone” and with Jeanne Tripplehorn during “Basic Instinct.”

He also opened up about his past struggles with cocaine and alcohol, which landed him in rehab.

Douglas told Page Six that cocaine use was “rampant” in Hollywood in the ’70s and ’80s.

“I didn’t have to (include it), but I was just sharing my experience,” he said of his decision to keep the bomb, which he called his “little tale of caution” in his book.

“Having a little bit of age behind me and looking back on it… (cocaine) was a really ridiculous drug and a lot of people were using, including my son, and a lot of others.”
