A YouGov poll taken a day after Democrats’ stunning midterm victory asked whether the results were more reflective of “voters’ opinions of Donald Trump,” “voters’ opinions of the candidates on the ballot” or “both tied.” Far more Americans said Trump was a more important factor than the candidates on the ballot — 38% to 11% — while 32% said the results reflected their views of both Trump and the candidates.
