Tiger Woods poses with ex-wife Elin Nordegren as son Charlie celebrates college graduation

Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren were seen together celebrating Charlie Woods’ commitment to college golf at Florida State.

The rare public appearance follows a period of darkness for Tiger since his arrest in March for drunk driving. His first public outing was alongside PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp at the Travelers Championship, and he is reportedly planning a return to the sport later this year on TGL.

He and his ex-wife, Nordgren, were seen together at their son Charlie’s college signing, as the 18-year-old will play alongside young golf star Miles Russell at Florida State in the fall of 2027.

Following the revelation of Tiger’s infidelity, he and Elin finalized their divorce and Charlie continued his quest in his father’s footsteps. This comes after Vanessa Trump hit Tiger Woods with a crude ultimatum.

In February, Charlie shared the news of his commitment, writing, “I’m thrilled to announce my commitment to play golf at Florida State University – go Noles!” Tiger commented on the announcement saying: “Congratulations Charlie. I’m so proud of you for entering this next chapter of your life.”

Reflecting on the recruiting journey, Tiger shared that navigating the process alongside Charlie was an entirely new experience for him.

“It’s fun to be a part of the process with Charlie, to go through it and see the opportunities he’s created by playing better, the places he could play, wants to play, that will ultimately decide where he wants to go play,” Tiger said last year.

“It’s been very different,” continued the 15-time major winner. “In the recruiting process now, you have cell phones, we didn’t have cell phones. We wrote letters that showed up in the mailbox. It was like, ‘Oh my God, I got a letter.'”

The family reunion comes after Woods publicly announced his new relationship with Vanessa Trump last year, and the two have endured different struggles throughout 2026.

Woods was arrested in late March while teasing a return to the Masters, and shortly after, Trump announced that she was suffering from breast cancer. Most recently, his daughter and University of Miami golfer Kai Trump released an emotional statement after being forced to undergo surgery.

Following his car accident, Woods was taken into custody for drunk driving after officers discovered hydrocodone pills in his possession.

This was his second DUI offense in a decade. Before submitting to field sobriety tests, Woods informed officers that he had previously undergone seven back surgeries as well as more than 20 leg surgeries, adding that he was taking several prescription medications.

He was also caught on camera noting that he was on the phone with the president right after the accident.

An arrest affidavit revealed that Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies noted several indicators of intoxication at the site.

Despite the accident, PGA Tour star Kevin Kisner revealed that Tiger is looking to compete in a full TGL program this year, and that he may also compete in the Hero World Challenge and the PNC Championship.

This follows Woods’ four-word response to Vanessa Trump that left her furious.
