Former Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck bids farewell to his longtime family home.
After stints in Green Bay, Seattle, Tennessee, and Indianapolis, the place Hasselbeck called home the longest was Weston, Massachusetts. It was there that he started a family with his wife Sarah, raising three children.
Hasselbeck, 51, made the announcement in an emotional Instagram post this week.
“We have officially said goodbye to the home that raised our children. Too many memories and blessings to list – the joy of laughter, the pain of heartbreak and everything in between,” he wrote. “I am so grateful for the help of my dad (Poppa, Big D, Coach Don, Hass, The DonFather) and all the family and friends who have made this place more than just a home.

Hasselbeck did not reveal his next destination.
The post included a series of photos and videos from the suburban Boston home, including pool parties, coaching shenanigans, school dance photos, college sports signings and much more.
The family spent more than a decade in the home and purchased it in late August 2016 for $5.6 million.
The property spans over 12,835 square feet on 2.4 acres of land. On the grounds are several leisure facilities, a barn with three horse stalls and an equestrian area, as well as a large swimming pool.
The home features six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, a library and a master suite with a fireplace.
The three-time Pro Bowler was selected in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Boston College Packers.
He began his career on the practice squad before being replaced by Brett Favre. In 2001, he was a starter in the NFL in Seattle.
He spent 10 seasons with the Seahawks before stints with the Titans and Colts.
While in the Pacific Northwest, Hasselbeck reportedly owned a 6,240 square foot home in Bellevue, Washington, with four bedrooms. He sold the property in 2013 for $3.1 million.
