Patagonia's sneaky fall sale is an embarrassment of cozy riches

With the way the weather randomly shifts from an idealistic sunny day to an explosive torrential downpour, there’s a good chance you’ve been under, over, or underdressed at some point in the past week. (Or maybe you’re less stubborn than me, but we’re not here to argue on this issue.)

By the time the first gust of wind or drop of rain hits your head, you may have noticed the glaring holes in your fall wardrobe. If you’ve been understandably hesitant because the options tend to boil down to “full price” or “wait,” you can now take the word “wait” out of the equation because Patagonia’s sales section is full of winter wonderlands.

We’re talking layering-ready puffer jackets, toasty flannels and sweaters, crewnecks, and even killer packs for those who love spending even a little time away from their cosiness. And once again, everything is on sale. So now the only thing stopping you from going on a hike to look at leaves is that ever-annoying couch.
