Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7 is now available for Pixel devices even as testing on QPR3 began last week.
Beta 7 fixes the following issues:
- Excessive battery drain during idle states when Flip to Shh prevents the device from entering deep sleep. (Number 560036427, Number 569079944)
- HTTPS downloads fail immediately when initiated through the system DownloadManager. (Number 562833711)
Report issues via the Android Beta Feedback app on Pixel devices. Access it from the app drawer or quick settings to log bugs in Google’s issue tracker. There is also the Android Beta community on Reddit.
Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7 system images are available for Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel 10a, Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, as well as the Android emulator.
Sideloading should be the quickest way to immediately access Beta 7 on your Beta 6.1 device. At launch we are always prompted to install QPR3 Beta 1.
