Apple Stores will add your name to the iPhone Duo Start screen

Apple has something special planned for customers who purchase an iPhone Duo at an Apple Store. Employees will be able to customize the Duo so that it displays the shopper’s name on the “Hello” screen when it first turns on.

BloombergMark Gurman of , claims that Apple stores in the United States will have a personalization system for adding the buyer’s name to an ‌iPhone Duo‌, with language options in English and Spanish.

Presumably, the name option will be available for devices ordered for in-store pickup and devices purchased in person.

The ‌iPhone Duo‌ will be available for pre-order starting October 16 at 5 a.m. PT and launches October 23. Pricing starts at $1,999.
