“My life for a watch,” Keegan Allen captioned his Instagram post last night, explaining that he had just been robbed at gunpoint. The actor, best known for pretty Little Liarsappeared bloodied and out of breath in a video taken the day after he was attacked by two masked men in the parking lot of a Laurel Supply store in West Hollywood. “My watch was just stolen,” Allen says in the video. “These two guys hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife, then they left.” He could be heard asking someone nearby to call the police. The entire confrontation was captured on security cameras, which Allen overdubbed. Fans and celebrities like Amanda Cerny and Supernatural actors Geneviève Padalecki and Colin Ford showed their support under the video.
Allen played Toby Cavanaugh in pretty Little Liarswho, despite several close calls, survived the entire series. Deadline recently reported that Allen will star in the film Banalitiesa musical drama set in the Los Angeles rock scene of the late ’70s.
Los Angeles law enforcement and paramedics were reportedly called to the scene to treat Allen for a head laceration, but he was not transported to a hospital. “West Hollywood is no longer safe,” Allen wrote in the caption of his post. Police have yet to identify the perpetrators or make any arrests, but perhaps all the time Allen is playing cop in pretty Little Liars will assist in the investigation.
