Gypsy Rose Blanchard reflects on her final moments with Ken Urker before his tragic death.
Blanchard exclusively told Page Six that she unknowingly last saw her ex when she surprised him with a Burger King delivery in September.
“During one of our discussions, I decided to surprise him with Burger King,” Blanchard recalls. “I pretended to be a DoorDash driver and left his food outside his door.”
The mom of one shared a screenshot of their playful text exchange from September 22, which showed Urker thanking her for the unexpected meal.
“You can leave me a five star review,” she jokingly texted alongside a photo of the food served outside her front door.
“Oh my god you’re so crazy lol,” Urker responded, adding, “Even gave me a Hershey pie 😂,” referring to one of Burger King’s famous dessert options.
“Thank you 😊,” he wrote before Blanchard responded, “You’re welcome.”
Looking back on that light-hearted interaction, Blanchard admitted she didn’t know it would become one of her last memories with Urker.
“It was such a simple, silly little moment, but one that now means more to me than I could ever express in words,” she told us. “I didn’t know it would be the last time I would see him in person.”
The 35-year-old said she now cherishes the seemingly ordinary exchange as she continues to mourn Urker’s death.
“Looking back, I’m grateful that one of my last memories of Ken was something light, thoughtful and filled with kindness,” she shared.
“Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that become the most precious memories. I’ll keep this one with me forever.”
Urker was found dead in his Louisiana home on Oct. 1 — his 34th birthday — after concerned family members asked for a welfare check.
Authorities found Urker lying unconscious in his bed, with drug paraphernalia, a syringe and a handgun found at the scene.
Blanchard previously told People that she believed Urker died of an overdose, although she didn’t know if it was intentional.
The official cause of death has not been determined, pending toxicology results. Authorities said there were no signs of foul play.
Following her death, Blanchard also claimed that Urker suffered incessant online harassment, which she said had a negative impact on her mental health.
The former couple, who first connected while Blanchard was serving prison time for her role in her mother’s murder, rekindled their romance in 2024 and welcomed daughter Aurora in December.
However, she and Urker separated shortly before his death.
Blanchard and their daughter, now 21 months old, later attended a private screening of Urker. Blanchard was also invited to attend Urker’s funeral in Texas and discussed holding a separate celebration of life in Louisiana.
