The Jacksonville Jaguars return to London for Week 5, hosting the home team against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, broadcast live on NFL Network.
The Eagles are off to a 2-2 start and have generally disappointed this season, with their usually strong running game getting off to a disappointing start. Saquon Barkley is out in Week 5 after suffering a hamstring injury last week, with his replacement Tank Bigsby also out after being placed on IR this week following core muscle surgery. They’re also down their top receiving weapon, as DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is set to miss his second straight game. The team also traded OL Cam Jergens this week, while All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement this week.

Simply put…Philadelphia has a lot continues before this match.
The Jaguars continue to look hot under head coach Liam Coen, and playing in what is essentially a home game across the pond, sportsbooks believe the momentum will continue with Jacksonville favored by more than a touchdown. It’s not just the offense that has sixth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence clicking. Their defense has also looked good, forcing a turnover on a league-high 21.6% of drives faced while allowing a score on just 29.7% of drives faced – the third-lowest rate in the league.

The Jaguars took over at their own 37-yard line and scored on just three plays.
After Trevor Lawrence found two-way star Travis Hunter over the middle for nine yards and the first down, he found wide receiver Parker Washington, who weaved through traffic with the help of a strong block downfield, for a 51-yard score.
It’s a quick bounce-back effort for Washington, who had a disappointing outing in last week’s win over the Bengals, where he had just one catch for seven receiving yards.

It was a seven-play, 21-yard drive for the Eagles, as Jalen Hurts completed 3 of 4 pass attempts for 16 yards and added a two-yard gain on the ground.
Officials initially called for a first down on that Hurts run, but upon review, he was nowhere near the line to win. The Eagles attempted a fourth-and-1 run at the Jacksonville 37-yard line, but it was no good.

The Jaguars were unsuccessful on their first possession, thanks to a few penalties and a 15-yard fumble, which was recovered by Jaguars OL Robert Hainsey.

Tensions are already high in Jacksonville, with Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. both ejected after a fight broke out between the two teams during the opening kickoff.
Trotter made his first start of the season at linebacker last week, and now, before taking a single defensive hit, Philadelphia will have to play with its next linebacker.

Jacksonville Jaguars two-way star Travis Hunter is ready for action in Week 5.
After playing all of his snaps on defense in Week 4, Hunter is ready to take the field against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.
The two-way player could see more snaps on offense this week, especially with the Eagles short a few key pass catchers.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line is already in disarray and it’s not even Week 5. After losing Landon Dickerson before Week 2, the Eagles also lost Lane Johnson following a surprising exit on Tuesday.
The team intentionally made another major change to its O-line on Wednesday, sending two-time Pro Bowler Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens for two draft picks. It was a puzzling decision considering the team is still in contention and already dealing with offensive line issues.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman addressed the trade on Wednesday, explaining that the team was not looking to negotiate with Jurgens, but felt obligated to make a move based on future assets coming back in the deal, according to The Athletic.
“We weren’t looking to move Cam. Obviously the Ravens were looking for a center… They were kind of told that wasn’t something we were looking to do. In the last 24 hours we got to the point where we felt like it could be a win-win for them. Obviously having a player that was a two-time Pro Bowl center and obviously for us being able to get the picks that we can get and use that money to draft players as well. I had the chance to see Drew here playing center does a good job having a young player there.
Roseman said that between draft picks — a fifth-rounder in 2027 and a second-rounder in 2028 — additional money and the elevation of Drew Kendall into the starting lineup, the Eagles felt like they were adding four players with the trade.
Roseman added that fans shouldn’t view the trade as the Eagles waving the white flag in 2026. He said the team is still trying to win this season, according to The Athletic.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter made sure to play overseas ahead of the Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Before the competition, Carter made sure to greet international fans.
Carter looks to add another sack and a few more tackles to his stat line on Sunday. He has one sack and eight combined tackles in four games so far this season.

In the days following the Rams’ collapse, the Eagles experienced two significant personnel developments that left observers wondering if the punts continued after the game ended. Tuesday, Lane Johnson, 14-year veteran right tackle and franchise mainstay, announced his retirementwith immediate effect. Johnson’s departure means Philadelphia now has a major hole to fill on the line — not the situation you want to see when your team is already struggling offensively.
But Johnson’s announcement was just the prelude to the big news of the week: Wednesday, the Eagles dealt guard/center Cam Jurgens to the Ravens for a pair of draft picks. When you’re already facing significant challenges on that side of the ball, it’s hard to rationalize trading a Pro Bowler for draft picks as anything other than a concession until those draft picks match up.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line will look a little different in Week 5 than in previous weeks, as All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson announced his surprising retirement. He played the first three weeks of the season before being caught inactive for Week 4 due to personal reasons.
Then, a day later, news broke that the Eagles were trading OL Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens. And all of this came weeks after Eagles starting left guard Landon Dickerson went on IR with a knee injury following a disastrous Week 1 outing.
Here’s a look at the Eagles’ new offensive line for Week 6:
