Kelly Clarkson calls a Brooklyn store after claiming an employee mistreated her.

On Saturday, the singer and talk show host took to X to share details of her recent experience at Art of Play, a store known for its collection of unique toys, games, books, puzzles and other items.

“I drove all the way to Brooklyn to visit this store that I thought was really awesome and had a few things in mind to buy and was literally looked at like I couldn’t afford it and told they could find something comparable for me,” Clarkson wrote.

“Wow, man. You’re an idiot and you just lost a huge sale,” she continued.

Clarkson then compared the encounter to a memorable scene from the 1990 film “Pretty Woman,” in which Julia Roberts’ character, Vivian Ward, is fired by a saleswoman who assumes she can’t afford the store’s clothes.

“But you should all go see Art of Play in Brooklyn if you like being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in ‘Pretty Woman.’ By all means, check it out,” Clarkson added.

The singer’s description of the incident echoes the famous scene from “Pretty Woman,” in which Vivian returns to the store after being rejected and tells the saleswoman, “Big mistake. Big. Huge.”

Clarkson’s post quickly gained attention from her followers, some of whom defended the singer and criticized the store on social media. Several users also appear to leave negative reviews on the company’s Google listing.
